Untraceable plastic pipe presents a difficult, potentially dangerous, challenge for utilities and their service providers. Existing solutions often involve intrusive methodologies and can even require access inside pipeline assets or inside private premises. Many products currently available simply do not work as described.

Easy to Deploy Easy to Locate
The handheld Sonicfinder 1000 plastic pipe locator utilizes advanced patented acoustic sensing to rapidly locate buried plastic services. A large LCD display and a bright LED bar gauge provide immediate feedback to the operator when scanning the terrain.
Power is provided through removable standard equipment batteries, allowing for quick field change and extended work days. All of this is realized without the need to access the interior of the pipe asset.

Patent protected technology enables non-intrusive and accurate locating of unmarked buried plastic infrastructure.
Access gas or water meter at outside of house. Quick connect the receiver (listening device) on the service.
Move toward the buried asset with the portable transmitter which creates an acoustic condition.
The transmitter will indicate you have located the service of interest via communication back to the receiver.
Mark out the buried pipe asset in a series of passes, and then quickly and easily de-mobilize and move onto the next site.
